Dr. June Mergl has been practicing in the Niagara Region for 27 years. She graduated from Virginia Tech Vet School in 1985 and worked in St Catharines at a small animal hospital and in Buffalo at a veterinary emergency clinic for 8 years. With her husband, she purchased Niagara Falls Animal Medical Centre in 1989.
Dr. June was the first president of the Niagara Veterinary Emergency Clinic. Along with her clinical responsibilities Dr June is also the Director of Veterinary Services for Marineland of Canada. Dr June and her husband have 3 boys, 1 dog, 4 cats and 1 horse. Dr June believes in giving back to her community and is a member of both the Zonta Club of Niagara Falls and the Rotary Club of Niagara Falls
